As with most fundraiser bicycle rides, this is a "rain or shine" event. If a participant chooses not to participate in the bicycle tour, they are still welcome to have lunch at Mandt Park between 11am-3pm if the event goes on.
In the case of lightning or other severe weather (heavy winds, heavy rain, hail, fire or icy conditions) the event will be canceled. Notifications about weather conditions, event postponement, course adjustments and event cancellation will be communicated via the following channels: the official website (http://yaharagrocery.coop/tourdefood/), e-mail notifications, on-course signage and public address announcements.
Event conditions resulting in event cancellation, course alteration or participant withdrawal will not warrant the refunding of race entry fees or granting of future race credits. Regardless of event day conditions, all participants should be discerning of their own fitness level. It is understood that each participant assumes personal responsibility upon entering the event and understands the inherent risk that bicycle riding presents.
